BR 2-01 :The Statue of Liberty

Everyone maybe knows Statue of Liberty. But, most people doesn't know how to make it and who make it maybe. Statue of Liberty made by Frederic Bartholdi. He is Frenchman. The Statue of Liberty was a present from the people of france to the people of the United States. 

"Liberty" means freedom. All over the world, people dreamed of coming to America to find freedom. The Statue of Liberty model is Frederic's mother. He copied his mother's face for his statue. First, he made a small statue. Then a bigger one. Then an even bigger one. The last statue was so big it couldn't fit in his workshop! So, he had to make it in pieces. Frederic needed lots of help. And they took the pieces outside and put them together. A ship carried what packed the statue apart from France to New York. In America the people were building high pedestal for But they ran out of money! The work stopped. 

Joseph Pulizer owned a newspaper. He had an idea. Joseph said, “The statue needs a home! I will print the name of everyone who gives money to help.” Thousands of people sent nickels and dimes. Children sent pennies. So The Statue of Liberty turned off. The people of New York had parade to welcome her. The excitement never ended.

I knew The Statue of Liberty but I didn’t know how to made it and who made it. I want to go to see that. It must be a big and awesome one!

Essay 2- 01a: I wanna be bilingual

I learn English in the KGU. I have exposure to English when I was baby. When I was child I usually spoke English outside because I had many friends of American. But I spoke Japanese in my house. Because, my parents are Japanese.

I'm interested in English even after coming back to Japan. So I attended English lesson. But I quitted when I was elementaｌly school student . But, I like English. So I thought what I want to learn English once more. And, I entered KGU. 

In my opinion, English has many lures. Firstly, English is global common language. Everybody knows that. If I speak English well I can speak most people all over the world. It is best to learn English to acilitate communication with various foreigner who do not assume English a native language. Secoundlｌy, I think English has not constraint. English is language what very friendly. English has formal speech as business english but, English is not hard like Japanese honorific. So we can get friendly quickly. Or we feel like that.Third, american joke is very funny. American joke jestful as gag lines of government,current affairs, history, gossip and scandal. And, English expression is so cool. In the case of language of youth, they have a slang. 

I usually study English with textbook. But, I like foreign magazine, TV, drama, movie, and song. So, I study English with them. When I watch a movie at first , I change to English sound and Japanese caption. Once I have gotten used to that, I change to English caption. Eventually, I try to watching movie without caption. When I listening western music, I looking lyrics. And, I study slang and youth slang.

I learn English but my mother language is Japanese. Many foreign country people say that Japanese is most difficult language. I speak Japanese everyday but sometimes I think that Japanese is difficult ,too. Japanese has character as Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana… English have only 26 alphabets. And Japanese honorific have word of consideration, formal lines, a humble form. I am not even understand pretty Japanese. But Japanese is beautiful and wonderful.

I have learned little Spanish for one year. I took a class of Spanish in KGU. It was difficult for me to study Spanish. I took two classes of Spanish. Writing and Speaking. I tend to like speaking class. I’m not good Spanish but I felt lures of Spanish. So I want to learn Spanish myself. And I want to visit to Espanol.

I want to be person who global. I want to work involve English deeply. For example, I thinking that I want to work at airport, teacher of children conversation English or Japanese instructor at overseas. And I would also like to live in foreign country in the future. To that end I should go all out and I should build up my English skill.

WILD BBQ !

I went to Senzyogawara with my hometown friends. A total of 8 people. Some friends homecoming visited. We planned BBQ in another river for some times. But, when we arrived that place, the place was full of people. It just like Disney land. As a last resort, we moved to Senzyogawara. Many happening happened. Firstly, we have to got across river. If it is only human is easy. But, we had many baggage. And that we had the baggage which must not get wet. We tried ours best to pass. We arrived safety space. Next, we got ready BBQ. But we noticed the absence of ignition accelerator. Maybe we dropped it in the river. As a last resort, I crossed over a river and I went to borrow a ignition accelerator from like gangster. But they were kind to me. Finally, we could do BBQ. We arrived there daytime but we ate meat in evening. And, we finished eating, we walked into the back and we dived off rock. After only a few minutes , suddenly thunder rumbling. And we were ravaged by torrential rains. We crossed swollen river quickly.And,we couldn't go home for a while. And, I catched a cold !!!! But, it was a memorable day.

Hawaiin restaurant cafe ♪♪

Today, I went to Hawaiian restaurant cafe with Yukino and Mayu. This restaurant opened in recent days. The restaurant's outer covering and inner packing were hawaiian. So, we feel like in Hawaii. We ate Roko-moko and Poki bowl and fruits pan cake. Their were so volumey and yummy. We were flying high ~~♪♪

Monsters University

Today, I went to theater to watch Monsters University with my dad and two younger sisters. I want to watch the movie long time. I like pixar movie of disney. Pixar became a subsidiary since 2006. Pixar has many popular movies like Toy story, A Bug's LIfe, Cars, Finding Nemo, The  incredibles and Monsters Inc. Getting back to the pint, Monsters University is story that childhood and college days of James P. Sullivan and Michael Wazowski. The story teach me that importance of friendship. My most favorite character is slug. He is very very funny slug. Anyway, you should see the movie !!!
