Essay 2-03b: Learning with Computers

It is fun and easy to learn with computers. Computers help us learn many things. Second year students have to spend more time on computers than first year student. English major like me mainly use a computer in Writing class, Reading class, Speaking class and Listening class. Of cause they use other classes. They surely use computer when they do homework. And now they can learn with internet. Actually, they can learn with you tube, English central, Power words and others. And they have very useful program like Google drive, office tools.

Mainly English students use computer in writing class. They write essays, book reviews, movie reviews, and free writing in own blogs. It is not good to write essay because they should write long sentence  and use own head. But it is good for them. They have to reading books and writing reviews and typing homework every week. But they manage to get behind in own homework. They have own blog in writing class. And they can posting to blog from own cellphones. In blog, they write about own favorite series, daily, typing homework. It is good because they can write anything they like.

In Speaking class, they do English Central. It is site what they can learn pronunciation, conversation, listening with using headphone and mike. This site is breakthrough and wonderful. It is great help to develop an own ability to listening and speaking skills.English Central has many movie attract own interest. There are many kind of movies like commercial, movies, drama, animation, stars interview, speech of president. So they have a great time doing that. 

In reading class, English majors learn about English newspapers. we even if they don't read Japanese newspapers. It is difficult to reading English newspaper. But we gradually enjoy reading English newspaper. And of cause we given an assignment of English newspaper. We search articles taken along assignment and we write up Word soft of Office tools. And we have to do Power Words. It is program that we can build a strong own vocabulary. We have to finish the work assigned by my teacher.

In Listening class, English students like me download listening file and we do homework every week. In existing text book, we have to listen by CD. But now, we are in high-tech world, We can anything in computer. And we can search what we doesn't know words. A computer help us widely.

When we do own homework we usually use Office tools. Office tools has many program like Word, Excel,Power point. We became good at machines since we became second year student. These programs fix us spelling error and teach mus grammatical mistakes. Program of Google Drive is very useful. When I use Google Drive,we can share and save own file on desktop.

And English major sometimes learning from you tube.  Most people like you tube and they often watching you tube when they free. We usually watching overseas artist's Music Video and drama. There are moving image with lyric and Japanese translation. So It it good lesson for us.

Everyone live in a world of convenience. It is analogy. If English major don't have computer they would strand because they should write homework by hand and they can't consult information quickly. Computer is of great use for us. But It is bad to excessive use of computer. When we use computer too much, we have problems like dry eye and loss of vision. So people who use computer should thinking about how to use computer. And they need more accurate knowledge about computers.

Essay 2-02b: My Work Place

My favorite place is my work place. I work for about a year and 8 month at there. I have long career second part-time worker. That is a Japanese style pub. I feel calm when I'm there. And people at work like my family or more than family. I’m there even I have not work. So I like my work place. 

The place is Japanese style pub. It is chain store name of Hakata Ichibanndori. My work place is not so big and commodious but We can dine in a relaxed atmosphere. In weekend many people have a bag on. I can get friendly with customer. We have many dishes and drinks. There is a course all-you-can-eat-and drink. This store is famous for ours delicious char-broiled chicken. It is very delicious because we broil at charcoal fire. Of cause another dishes are also delicious. We have a variety of drinks. Some drinks name are unique like ' Heavy Rotation', 'The Blue Lagoon', 'Rising Sun', 'Morning Coffee', 'Ellie My Love' and so on. 

I'm working in a store in my home town. I go there by car everyday. It’s a four minute drive. Sometimes I go there on foot when I feel good or I have enough time. When I working to there take about 30～40 minutes. Then I listening musics what I become high tention. My work place is in front of MacDonald and Joyful. So we often goes there before going to work or after. The store's car parking place is narrow so It become full in weekend. 

I love my office mates because We are like big family. Sometimes we fight together. But it is “A spat is the evidence they get along with each other” in Japanese. A store manager is 32 years man but He is so cut and he usually acts funny. But he is scary when he gets mad. All senior staffs and associate are man. I turn to them for advice because they like real brother. I can talk to them what I can’t talk my family. Younger staffs like my real younger brother and sister. They have many talks to me.And, sometimes they teasing me. But I think they are pretty from my heart. And we communicate with another store staff. Every staffs are spirited and funny. To wrap up, Hakata ichibanndari couldn’t better. 

My store’s office is very tight. It’s tight and there are many stuff. Many people enter there. But I rather like it. Because I fell calm it is like living room. We are eating, sleeping, playing, listening music, watching comic at there.

I very often go out with them. After working We usually goes to noodle store and sleep over someone’s house. A day off We usually goes dinner and bowling, karaoke, sleep over night. We stay most day of the week. More than my family and friends.

I have a lot acquaintance since I worked there. I make nice with consumer. Sometimes we go out drinking together. Some consumer sometimes brings many cakes for our. We rich in customer too.

You know what my work place and people at work are how wonderful. I really love them and place. I’m lucky to be blessed with nice people and job environment. I want to value my relationship with them and customer. So, that’s it I’m going to work hard today.

Essays 2-01b:Revised Language Learning Stories

I'll writing about what I have learned language. I major in English at the KGU. I have exposure to English when I was baby. When I was child I usually spoke English outside because I had many friends of American. But I spoke Japanese in my house. Because, my parents are Japanese. I'm native speakers of Japanese. And I can understand Spanish a little. 

I'm interested in English even after coming back to Japan. So I attended English lesson. But I quitted when I was elementally school student. But, I like English. So I thought what I want to learn English once more. And, I entered KGU. 

In my opinion, English has many lures. Firstly, English is global common language. Everybody knows that. If I speak English well I can speak most people all over the world. It is best to learn English to facilitate communication with various foreigners who do not assume English a native language. Secoundlly, I think English has not constraint. English is language what very friendly. English has formal speech as business English but, English is not hard like Japanese honorific. So we can get friendly quickly. Or we feel like that. Third, American joke is very funny. American joke jestful as gag lines of government, current affairs, history, gossip and scandal. And, English expression is so cool. In the case of language of youth, they have a slang. 

I usually study English with textbook. But, I like foreign magazine, TV, drama, movie, and song. So, I study English with them. When I watch a movie at first, I change to English sound and Japanese caption. Once I have gotten used to that, I change to English caption. Eventually, I try to watching movie without caption. When I listening western music, I looking lyrics. And, I study slang and youth slang.

I learn English but my mother language is Japanese. Many foreign country people say that Japanese is most difficult language. I speak Japanese everyday but sometimes I think that Japanese is difficult ,too. Japanese has character as Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana… English have only 26 alphabets. And Japanese honorific have word of consideration, formal lines, a humble form. I am not even understand pretty.Japanese. But Japanese is beautiful and wonderful.

I have learned little Spanish for one year. I took a class of Spanish in KGU. It was difficult for me to study Spanish. Spanish is confusing a little. There are male form and women form with the noun of Spanish. And we should change the way of speaking with honorific or casual talk. I took two classes of Spanish. Writing and Speaking. I tend to like speaking class. I’m not good Spanish but I felt lures of Spanish. So I want to learn Spanish myself. And I want to visit to Spain.

I want to be person who global. I’ll try to learn another language like Chinese, German, French. And I want to work involve English deeply. For example, I thinking that I want to work at airport, teacher of children conversation English or Japanese instructor at overseas. And I would also like to live in foreign country in the future. To that end I should go all out and I should build up my English skill.

Hi! My name is Minori F. I'm 19 years old and I'm a student of KGU. I live in Kumamoto, Japan.

My town Ohzu is famous for Soccer. The sign of local train station says " Welcome to the town of soccer!" I love soccer , so I'm proud of my home town.

Since the days of a baby to 6 years old, I lived in Los Angeles, U.S.A.  America is so fun place and I have only pleasant memory.
This is an opportunity, and I come to love the United States. I want to live in abroad in the future.
So, I want to go to sightseeing with you.

My hobby is reading Foreign magazine. Especially, I like gossip magazines. And, I like foreign TV programs and movis too.  Another, I love American food. Especially, I like cheese. So, I used to going to Chuck E Cheese's. I like Taco Bell and PINKS too. I want open up a store in Japan.
So, I want to go to eating American food with you.

I have family of six . My dad is so funny, kindly and he is good at english well. I love his and respects. My mom is good at cooking by crikey. My yonger sisters are so cute and noisy. One sister is 9 years old.  Other is 5 years old. They are like my children. My grandfather is so kindly and worrier. He buys anything. Lol . Anyway, I love my family in the world.
