Movie review 5 :Romeo+Juliet

I watched Romeo+Juliet which was created in 1996 by Baz Luhrmann. This is the movie remake and it based on a story by William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and without changes to the lines but time setting is changed modern times. Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio played Romeo and Claire Catherine Danes played Juliet. I didn't know her but, I have loved Leonardo DiCaprio since I was elementary school student.
I didn't know the story about Romeo and Juliet and I watched this movie for the first time, I knew this was very famous story. I think Leonardo is perfect for the role of Romeo who is boy who takes love too seriously and Claire is perfect for the role of Juliet who dose not know anything and is pure and innocent girl. The scene where Romeo met Juliet stuck out in my mind because it is very romantic and beautiful. I took a deep breath of admiration. And lines were very classical like "It is but thy name that is my enemy;Thou art thyself, though not a Montague. What's Montague? It is not hand, not foot, not arm, not face, not other part belonging to a man. O be some other name! What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other word smell a sweet. "I couldn't understand well at first but gradually I became increasingly familiar with interpretation of the world of Shakespeare and I realized phrase is pregnant with meaning. The time setting was modern. For example there were gang related murders and the Laurence priest was funky! He had a big tattoo on his back. On the other hand lines were original. But it was matched in mysterious ways.
This is the very sad story by reason of their true love and subtly miss. I felt so sad after watched this movie but I like it. It's good watch this famous movie.
